Immigration Storytelling

Program showcases immigrants, their descendants, and ally voices to combat the criminalization of immigrants. These stories, voices, and experiences must be heard. Ahlam Mahmood and seven other storytellers discuss their lives this evening. Ahlam tells her story of fleeing her home in Iraq, being a humanitarian leader in Syria, friendship with Deborah Campbell, imprisonment, and starting a new life with her family in the United States.
