Rahmatullah Hamraz, an economist and peace advocate, is the Director of National Center for Peace and Development, an Afghan non-profit. He was a senior official in the Afghan government and is a Obama Foundation Scholar. He completed a master’s degree program in International Development and Policy at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Rahmatullah’s strong community engagement skills and understanding of Afghan issues are invaluable in recruiting and training volunteers and assisting in the resettlement of our Afghan families.
