All Faiths Collaborative for Refugees

Building Peaceful Bridges is happy to be the recipient of a grant from Welcome.US. With the funds from this grant, we will build on our already strong network of faith based organizations to create an All Faiths Collaborative for Newcomers (AFCN). We invite you and your organization to join the collaborative.

As a community based organization, BPB has a proven model for ensuring that new refugees are supported and connected to welcoming communities. The activities in the AFCN will support and expand on that model by engaging and broadening involvement of community members and by strengthening our systems and processes to accommodate the increase in engagement.

Who is the All Faiths Collaborative for Newcomers (AFCN) for?

Organizations of any faith who want to help in welcoming refugees.

What are the member activities?

Participate in quarterly meetings to develop best practices in integrating Afghan newcomers into our communities.

Best ways to engage communities in creating welcoming communities. Models that have proven track records and

new ideas.
