Jazz for Food Aid

A fundraiser featuring Second City Jazz to help Building Peaceful Bridges provide food for newcomers who have lost SNAP benefits.

SUGGESTED DONATION:
$40 for one person
$30 for each additional person
$20 for students

REFRESHMENTS: Light refreshments will be available for sale.

Building Peaceful Bridges (BPB) is a community-based not for profit dedicated to supporting refugees and newcomers as they integrate into American society. Their programs serve families in the Evanston, Skokie, Glenview, Rogers Park and Des Plaines communities.
BPB newcomer families are facing acute food shortage due to the federal government’s current policy ending their enrollment in the SNAP (food stamp program)
